What I do at Aspire.
I have over 17 years of experience in the psychology field, including crisis intervention, plus 15 years as a Emergency Room/Trauma Nurse and 9 years as a Post-Anesthesia Care Nurse gaining valuable experience in high-pressure, patient-centered environments.
Why I became a Doctor/Nurse.
I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Loyala University before returning to pursue a nursing degree. I have a deep committment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care.
Why I chose to work at Aspire.
Recognizing the growing mental health challenges, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, I returned to school at Walden University to obtain a Master's of Nursing degree and become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I joined Aspire to fulfill my passion for treating a wide range of mental health disorders, including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, PTSD, adjustment disorders, and ADD/ADHD, with a particular passion for women's health.
My Hobbies and Interests
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family & 3 cats, traveling, and hiking
